I purchased a 14Ga needle to assist in force feeding and medicating a chronically ill garter snake that was losing weight. The needles came quickly and were exactly what I was expecting. They made the experience much quicker and less stressful for both me and the snake.
Since the medication and force-feedings she has been able to put on a little bit of weight and mostly recover from her illness.
Highly recommended for anyone with even minor training who has to force feed or orally medicate a small snake (although the food puree might not fit through smaller needles)

Love the design of the Alfonso Speculum and use it primarily on adults for intravitreal injections. Easy to place and remove. Sturdy enough though lighter than the original Alfonso Speculum. Overall great value.
